Feature Article Wins Gold MarCom Creative Award

Following Nature's Lead: An Ecological Approach to Stormwater Management, a feature article Terracom developed and placed for WRD Environmental, recently won a Gold MarCom Creative Award.

As part of an integrated plan to reach Illinois parks professionals, the article, bylined by WRD's Geoff Deigan, appeared in Illinois Parks & Recreation magazine and complemented two sessions he was to present at a statewide parks conference.

The theme of the particular magazine issue the team had targeted was technology. Tailoring an article about nature-based stormwater management to that theme took some creativity. So did illustrating the article, whose best example was still under construction.

Working closely with the magazine editor and WRD, Terracom accomplished both.
